Parents, please have your child log onto IRIS and explain the Rock Cycle. Can they explain the 3 different types of rocks? Do they know the difference between intrusive and extrusive rocks? Which ones have more crystals? Do they know the word lithification? What kind of rock is the most common in Alberta?
Next week we will use our new knowledge, plus what we learned from our rock testing to write a Scientific Conclusion based on evidence.
