Student Blog Post

Dear families,

Did you know that architects sometimes write documents to the governments? They do that so they choose their designs. We did that in class to the Peruvian Government to persuade them to choose our bridges, so we can replace the Kimbiri River Bridge that collapsed. We built 4 bridges in groups they are: cantilever, truss, arch, beam. We noticed that the hardest part was probably painting in the architectural period or the Persuasive letter to the government.  Most people had a hard time with writing their paragraphs. Luckily, we had a brainstorming page and an example of a letter to help us. We are so proud of showing our parents what we learned at the celebration of learning .
