Dear Parents,

How long do you think you could make a paper chain using only one piece of paper? Share your prediction with your child. What was their prediction? What was their strategy? If they were to do it again, what would they change? 

This design challenge was also the perfect opportunity to talk about teamwork and make group norms. What makes a team successful? Once we were done our challenge, we made personal reflections on our own contribution to the team. Ask your child what was easy and what was challenging about team work today.
