Highlights From the Beakerhead Assembly
Paul, the Beakerhead performer was an excellent juggler.(Reya)
Amna was picked as a volunteer and did an thrilling spinning plate performance where 5 plates were spinning at one time. She had one spinning plate in each hand and 3 spinning plates on her head. (Amna)
At one point he was juggling a big knife and two bowling pins. As he juggles he also shaved his face! ( Nikolas)
The last performance was juggling on a unicycle. He was riding around and juggling. (Meveish)
What does a pencil have to do with geology?
This morning students brainstormed what geology means, recording their ideas using a mind map into their visual journals.
They were given the pencil question to ponder and discuss. How do you think a pencil is connected to geology? Discuss this question with your child.
