Updates:

• We worked on our weaving today and a piece of writing that goes with it. The weaving represents our emotions and memories which is similar to the quipu in Peru. 
• In math we are working on reviewing addition and subtraction using the number line. 
• We started looking at photographs of Peru and asking deep questions. 
• Things we noticed:
• They eat alot of potatoes
• We figured out that there is one Church in Lima that is very important
• The weather looks like it is hot
• It looks like they grow alot of their food
• We noticed they have colorful clothes full of patterns
• We noticed their homes looked different than ours - we noticed lots of cement on their houses, some were plain and grey, others were bright and blue
• We saw some llamas and alpacas and we are wondering what kind of colors they can be.
